Award for Contributions to Biology and Science Given to Prof. Dr. Yusuf Baran
Prof. Dr. Yusuf Baran, the Rector of İzmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH), has been honored with the “Award for Contributions to Biology and Science,” given for the first time by the Turkish Biologists Association. Known for his significant work in cancer genetics, Prof. Dr. Baran received the award on the opening day of the 25th National Biology Congress, hosted by IZTECH. This award is presented to distinguished scientists specializing in various fields of biology.
