IZTECH encourages applications of underserved student populations by actively engaging in various outreach activities. Additionally institutional policies have been implemented for gender equality and social equitability (accessible at https://en.iyte.edu.tr/about/principles-and-strategies-regarding-gender-equality/).
IZTECH is engaged with national organizations for mentoring and scholarship schemes to increase women’s access to higher education. Along these lines, the university encourages application by women in subject areas where they are underrepresented. As a direct result of these strategies, our technical-themed university hosts nearly as many women as men in its student body which is exemplary for many technical industries.
