Izmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH) ranked first in Türkiye in the Türkiye University Satisfaction Survey. It was among the top three state universities in all categories.
Having always managed to be an A+ university in the research conducted by the University Research Laboratory (ÜniAr) since 2016, İYTE achieved first place in the 2023 ranking. İYTE Rector Prof. Dr. Yusuf Baran was awarded the gold medal according to the Rector Performance Evaluation results.
Emphasizing that IZTECH has recently added a new one to its national and global successes, Rector Baran said the following on the subject: “Our institute achieved the success of ranking first in the TÜMA 2023 General Satisfaction Ranking. In addition, I was awarded the gold medal with the votes of my dear students. First of all, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to our achievements. In addition to providing a good academic education to our students at IZTECH, which I have always been proud to be a member of, we carry out projects and work with all our might in order to raise them as role model leaders, entrepreneurs and scientists, and to be an exemplary campus in every sense. As İYTE, we are once again experiencing the rightful pride and happiness of ranking first in one of the most prestigious rankings in our country. We will continue to work and produce to increase the brand value of our country in global competition.”
In interviews conducted with 47,761 students from 200 universities across Turkey, questions were asked to students under different headings. The satisfaction levels of university students with their universities were measured. Universities were scored according to the criteria of Satisfaction of Learning Experience, Satisfaction of Campus and Life, Satisfaction with the Management and Operation of the Institution, Richness of Learning Opportunities and Resources, and Personal Development and Career Support. According to the survey results; İYTE achieved first place in Turkey in the General Satisfaction Ranking; Rector Baran won the gold medal.
