IZTECH Youth Office, which will be operational in the coming days, will support students in developing their social skills and abilities as well as their academic development. The construction of the recently completed İYTE Campus will be completed in the coming days.

The signing ceremony was held in the IZTECH Senate Hall. Rector Prof. Dr. Yusuf Baran, in his speech at the ceremony, emphasized the responsibility of universities to develop the socio-economic level of the region and the country, and stated that in addition to providing students with a good academic education, they also produce projects to help them grow up as world citizen leaders. He expressed his belief that the Youth Office will provide students with the opportunity to enrich their educational, artistic, social, cultural, sports and volunteer activities and develop their personal capacities. He wished that the IZTECH Youth Office, which was opened with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, will be beneficial for the institute, the region and the country. Izmir Provincial Youth and Sports Director Murat Eskici also stated in his speech that they cooperated with universities to strengthen the brand value of Izmir as a city of universities under the coordination of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Turkey. Stating that they aim to increase the equipment of young people by supporting their sports activities and to provide them with opportunities to reach the level where they can do their best, Eskici reminded that IYTE is a science and technology center and wished that the completed Youth Office will be beneficial for the youth of the region and the country.

It is expected that the IZTECH Youth Office will contribute to the academic and personal development of young people and increase the value of Izmir in the youth field.
