“Peninsula Women Add Life to the Gum Tree” Project Started

The opening ceremony of the “Peninsula Women Add Life to the Gum Tree” project, which was carried out in cooperation with IZTECH and the Izmir Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Turkey, was held.
Rector Prof. attended the opening ceremony of the project, which was implemented within the scope of the protocol signed between IZTECH and Izmir Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry within the scope of the revival of the gum tree, which is in danger of extinction. Dr. Yusuf Baran, İzmir Deputy Ceyda Bölünmez Çankırı, Urla District Governor Murtaza Dayanç, İzmir Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Mustafa Özen, directorate officials, provincial and district protocol, as well as academic-administrative staff and students from IYTE attended.
At the opening, mastic tree saplings were planted in the Tatar area of ​​Urla Zeytinler Village.
