The Future of Renewable Energy and Career Opportunities Program was Held as Part of the Career Planning and Development Course
Within the scope of GCC101 Career Planning Course, the “Future of Renewable Energy and Career Opportunities” program was held with great participation. The event, attended by experts in renewable energy, which has an important place in the energy sector, guided students in their career planning.
The program was attended by IYTE faculty members Prof. Dr. Gülden Gökçen AKKURT, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özgenç EBİL, Dr. Lecturer Ferhat BİNGÖL and Dr. Lecturer Başar ÇAĞLAR. These valuable academicians shared their knowledge and experiences with students on the future of renewable energy and career opportunities in the energy sector.
The current status of renewable energy in the world and in Turkey was discussed at the event. Participants had the opportunity to explore current projects and technologies for the use of solar, wind, hydroelectric and other renewable energy sources.
Important discussions were held on career opportunities in the energy sector, practical information about the business world and the future of the sector. Students were able to shape their career choices more consciously with the information from the speakers’ areas of expertise.
